Beth & Madison… engaged.

Beth & Madison are proof that true love knows no boundaries. Not even political ones. I couldn’t have imagined better harmony than they have, despite one being very liberal and the other conservative.

Heather – 37 weeks

Heather’s belly says 37 weeks, but she was just as vibrant and energetic as ever, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to capture these images. Heather is gorgeous and her family is so sweet and lucky to be adding a BOY. Soon!

Flying Diver-man

At 13 months, Jonas isn’t much interested in walking. But he does love to climb the stairs, waving every few steps. So, I was poised on the steps, waiting to capture his big smile when he came around the corner from the top of the steps. Only that silly little guy had instead decided to go get one of his bath toys and fling it at me from the top of the stairs! (Thankfully it missed both me and my camera).

This cathedral is about a 60-second walk from my office. And yet this was only the second time I’ve ventured inside. This time I spent some time taking in the details.

Around the old homestead…

My family and I spent a week after Christmas visiting my parents, back where I spent my childhood and adolescent years.

A lot has changed – it’s quite the combination of old and new. One of the new goats:

A newly renovated kitchen.

Kitchen backsplash, which incorporates Mercer tiles that have been in the house since it was built many, many years ago.  (I forget just how old it is!)

An old chair

In the barn.
